What is teamLab Planets TOKYO in Toyosu?

“Team Lab” is a digital art group consisting of specialists in various fields such as artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, architects, etc. TeamLab Planet’s super immersive space is ‘teamLab Planets TOKYO’, created by ‘Team Lab’, which seeks a new relationship between human and nature, and oneself and the world through art. The greatest attraction is that visitors can “immerse” in the space, and you can enjoy the new form of art that you can get in your work. Take off your shoes and enjoy playing barefoot. Sometimes you can step into the water and feel the work across the body.

Highlights of teamLab Planets TOKYO

1. “The Infinite Crystal Universe”

A space represented by a collection of three-dimensional objects of light is an interactive work that extends infinitely in all directions. It is a masterpiece of team lab.

2. Expanding Three-Dimensional Existence in Transforming Space-Flattening 3 Colors and 9 Blurred Colors, Free Floating

In a space filled with freely floating light spheres, the spheres show a total of 12 color changes. Since this sphere is transmitted to the color change from the place where it was struck, it is possible to take a picture of the moment of mixing of spheres of multiple colors by taking a picture from a little distance.

3. Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People-Infinity

In the space filled with plenty of water down to the knees, the colorful lights and images are just dazzling. A virtual video “Sakai” swims near the foot, raising the cheers of children trying to catch it. The feeling of cool water is so comfortable that you can see the beautiful fish shadow forever.

4. Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers

In a dome like a planetarium, the flowers that bloom throughout the year offer an immersive feeling that is enveloping from all directions in a fantastic space that changes constantly with time. Please lie on the floor and try to enjoy the art using your whole body and five senses.
