★★★★★Makiko sensei was a wonderful teacher and we had a lot of fun learning how to cook a delicious salmon bento. She is very open and the conversation was flowing naturally till the last minute. After the bento cooking and eating part, she had prepared a lovely cake and shared recommendations with us for tea shops and her favorite sweets, which we will definitely try. Thank you again we enjoyed every minute of it!

★★★★★We had a wonderful time during Makiko's bento box workshop. The bento box concept was perfect for us as it covers several different dishes (omelette, salmon, fried chicken, rice and spinach) which are useful to master. Makiko has a lot of experience, speaks perfect English and is a wonderful host! She went above and beyond by giving us tips on how to spend our time in Kyoto, and it helped us make the most of our stay in this city. To top it off, her dog Roy is super sweet and a fun companion during the workshop. Highly recommended.
