2.-Sushi class: Maki

I offer two courses. One is a cooking class with Shokado Bento menu. Another one is for Sushi. Starting with a 20-minute- market tour, and then after we go to the nice kitchen for cooking.
The market tour is a guided tour just after meeting in the station on the way to the kitchen. We go through different stores like a fish market, a meat and vegetable sections.
I will gladly show unique Japanese ingredients to foreign visitors.
In class, I explain the setup and demonstrate cooking. Participants will also have the opportunity to actually cook the dish and then eat it together afterwards.
English recipes will be provided for you to take home.

Hello, my name is Miho Kondo.
I have been teaching Japanese cooking classes for 10 years at a culture center in Switzerland, where I lived for many years.
Now that I am back in Tokyo, I would like to offer my cooking classes to foreign visitors.
My motto is to explain the cultural background of Japanese food and to demonstrate recipes in a way that is easy to understand and can be done at home back home.
