I will demonstrate each step slowly and clearly, so even complete beginners can enjoy the process with confidence.
You will use a variety of fresh toppings such as tuna, salmon, sea bream, squid, shrimp, sweet omelet, salmon roe, and cucumber roll ingredients. I will also share simple stories about sushi culture, tools, and ingredients to make the experience both fun and educational.
All ingredients and equipment are provided. At the end, you can enjoy the sushi you made yourself—fresh, beautiful, and delicious. This hands-on class is designed for travelers who want an authentic and memorable taste of Japanese cuisine.

Hello! My name is Teru, a professional sushi chef actively working as a traveling private sushi chef in Tokyo. I host sushi events, private dinners, and workshops for guests from many countries, and I love sharing authentic Japanese sushi culture in a friendly and approachable way.
At the Tokyo Sushi Academy, I trained in traditional techniques, and today I bring those skills directly to my guests. In my class, you will learn how to prepare sushi rice, shape beautiful nigiri, and roll classic maki while hearing simple stories behind each technique and ingredient.
