This sushi workshop is designed for beginners. People who have never cooked before are also welcome.
You can take a sushi lesson using the fish that you bought at Tsukiji.
Furthermore, vegan sushi made with vegetables is also available.
Please experience Japanese culture through nigiri sushi. You will also receive a PDF of sushi-making instructions and a recipe for sushi rice as a gift.

Sushi (寿司, 鮨) is a Japanese dish of specially prepared vinegared rice (鮨飯 sushi-meshi), usually with some sugar and salt, combined with a variety of ingredients (ネタ neta), such as seafood (most commonly and often raw), vegetables, and occasionally tropical fruits. Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the key ingredient is "sushi rice", also referred to as shari (しゃり), or sumeshi (酢飯).
Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.
1. I will guide you around Tsukiji Market, where you will choose and buy the sushi ingredients you would like to eat at your own expense.
2. We will then move to a nearby kitchen, where I will prepare the fish by cutting it into sushi toppings.
3. The sushi workshop begins. I will teach you step by step, so please do not worry. This workshop is designed for beginners.
4. Please relax, enjoy eating the sushi you made, and take photos.
The meeting point is Exit 1. Tsukiji Station is on the Hibiya Line.
I will guide you around Tsukiji Market.
You will choose and buy the sushi ingredients you would like to eat at your own expense.
We will then move to a nearby kitchen, where I will prepare the fish by cutting it into sushi toppings.
I will teach you how to make sushi rice. In addition, I will give you the recipe for sushi rice, so you can make it as many times as you like after you go home.
