Miso soup made with miso, one of the fermented foods that Japanese people have been eating for a long time. Finish with tohu and vegetables.

    Tempura

    Tempura (天ぷら) is a classical Portuguese dish brought to and popularized by Japan, consisting of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried. Tempura is a typical home-style cooking in Japan. It is often referred to as a representative dish to Japan. Although there are various theories, it is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu, the general of the Edo period, liked tempura so much that he allegedly died from eating too much.

  • Okonomiyaki

    Okonomiyaki

    Okonomiyaki is a Japanese savory pancake, made with flour, eggs, shredded cabbage, meat and toppings as you like. This variability is reflected in the dish's name: "okonomi" literally means "to one's liking". You can eat it everywhere in Japan, but especially Okonomiyaki made Hiroshima style and Osaka style are the most famous.

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

・Ingredients such as okonomiyaki vegetables are chopped and mixed with rice flour and baked in a frying pan. Serve with sauce and mayonnaise to finish.
Okonomiyaki made with high-quality organically grown rice flour with plenty of cabbage, with a gentle taste.

・Miso soup A miso soup with plenty of ingredients, made with kombu seaweed and dried bonio. Seasonal vegetables are used, and it is finished with a lot of ingredients.

Contents of dishes are the healthy home cooking with fish, Buddhist cuisine, medicinal cooking that they learned in Kyoto. If you are interested, I guide you for local fishes and vegetables market.

I like to be in contact with different cultures, so I'd like to talk with people from various countries.

My home is in Sumiyoshi-ku, where is convenience to transportation of the Osaka metro is good. As part of my cooking class, I can also guide you for Abiko Kannon, Nagai Botanical Garden, Sumiyoshi taisha.
