Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba(noodles)
Okonomiyaki is a favourite food for my family, and I make it at home at least twice a month. I would like to share with you how to make delicious okonomiyaki that you can also make in your own kitchen when you leave Japan. Also, okonomiyaki and beer are the perfect match, so let’s enjoy Japanese beer with okonomiyaki together! After this, we can make tasty yakisoba on the same hotplate, and I can also teach you some useful Japanese cooking phrases if that's interesting for you!
What’s included:
Ingredients and instructions to make okonomiyaki and yakisoba
Japanese beer (or non-alcoholic drink) to drink during our meal
Japanese cooking phrases if you would like to learn some culture and language
(Please make a reservation with two or more people.)

★★★★★I absolutely loved the cooking class with Shuko-san! We met at a major station which was so convenient, and then she took us shopping. It was so great to see exactly what we were buying and what it all looked like so that I can easily shop by myself when I make this recipe at home. She also answered a lot of my questions about other random items we passed. Then we walked to her house near the station - it was so interesting to see the inside of a real Japanese flat! It was a cozy place with lots of space and perfect for a cooking class. When we got there, she gave each of us a paper with the recipe on it and went over it with us step by step. She was so flexible and made sure we knew we could customize our dish with whatever ingredients we wanted. It was all very hands on and a lot of fun. Shuko-san has a fantastic sense of humor and supported us in both English and Japanese. And most importantly, it was delicious! I will definitely take a class with her again!

★★★★★The class was wonderful, and the food was delicious! We took a shopping trip together to learn about the ingredients, which was really helpful. Shuko is also a highly skilled Japanese language teacher, so we were able to learn how to describe what we were making in Japanese. I hope to do it again soon.
