Bento experience and "Cherry Blossom Viewing"

Cooking Class Menu

We will make the following small dishes for bento.

・Japanese rolled omelette with a normal round fry pan
・Stuffed chicken mushroom with teriyaki sauce
・Fish sausage bouquet
・Kinpira (Fried vegetables)
・Simmered Sakura flower (for rice)
・Grilled salmon (for rice)
・Boiled beans (for rice)

After having your bento, Terumi will serve you something sweet, and drink.

• Rice

  Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

Cooking Class Information

Meeting location: Ibaraki station of JR Kyoto/Osaka/Kobe line. The station is between Osaka station (15 min) and Kyoto station (20 min). The city is tranquil & peaceful area.

This experience offer two staples in Japan's spring, "Cherry Blossom Viewing" and "Bento cooking".

We will rent a bicycle from Ibaraki station, then head for Terumi's studio.
First learn Japanese food culture, bento experience for one hour. Then let's go for a cherry blossom picnic on a beautiful national park.

Finishing point is at Ibaraki station.

My passion is meeting people with food and tea culture, and sharing my passion for your healthier life. During the pandemic, I graduated from Japanese Holistic College, and cured my families and friends who have gut issues for a few years.

My love for food started from very young age. After living in US for school, and loved to travel around overseas, I got even more obsessed with international cuisines and Japanese tea cultures. So I launched my worldwide Cooking Class in 2008 to Japanese people, and launched my Japanese Cooking Class and Local Tour to people from oversea in 2020.
