◎California Roll Sushi: avocado, cucumber, rolled omelette, crab stick, tobiko(frying fish roe), seaweed

◎Tempura: prawn, seasonal vegetables

◎Miso soup: tofu, wakame seaweed, fried tofu

We’ll make the above 3dishes together!!

◎I’ll prepare 2 other side dishes

◎Japanese sweets

◎Matcha (You can experience a casual-style tea ceremony)

I will teach you to make it easily when you return to your country.

★This class is acceptable for vegans.
Vegan policy for my class as follows,

(1) As my class, we have not received vegan certification by a third-party organization

(2) My kitchen is not exclusively for vegans because it also cooks general meals

(3) Animal products and seafood are not used in the soup stock


The classroom is 8-minute walk from Nagai Subway Station near Nagai Park.

TeamLab(digital art)is held at Nagai Park.

  • Tempura

    Tempura

    Tempura (天ぷら) is a classical Portuguese dish brought to and popularized by Japan, consisting of seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried. Tempura is a typical home-style cooking in Japan. It is often referred to as a representative dish to Japan. Although there are various theories, it is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu, the general of the Edo period, liked tempura so much that he allegedly died from eating too much.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

    Tea Ceremony

    The Japanese tea ceremony is a centuries-old tradition closely tied to Zen Buddhist principles, and a popular way to experience Japanese culture. There are several variations on this ritual. At its base, powdered green tea (matcha) is prepared and served in accordance with strict rules. Oftentimes, wagashi (Japanese sweets) is served alongside the bitter green tea.

1. Meeting at the station

Take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Nagai station. I'll be waiting in front of the ticket office near Exit 5 of Nagai station 15minutes before the starting time. It's an 8-minute walk from the station to my house. Nagai station is about 20 minutes from Umeda subway station and about 15 minutes from Namba station.

When you get my house, the first thing you should do is wash your hands. And please have a welcome drink. Hot or cold tea and mineral water are available. If you like, try green juice. Green juice is a well-known healthy drink in Japan. And then I'll explain you about today's lesson.
