Reference: I may ask you to do other work as a guide, and even if it is written, there is work that I will do due to time constraints.

Course A makes Sushi.
①Temakizushi Hand-rolled sushi
⓶Inarizushi Sushi wrapped in seasoned fried tofu
③Chirashizushi  Scattered sushi
④Oshizushi pressed sushi
⑤Temarizushi

Choose your favorite type (1) to (5).
I will prepare boiled oil, cucumber, sashimi, shiso→ etc.
You and I will cut and boil the ingredients.
You roll or wrap depending on the sushi of your choice.

(1) to (5) Common dishes (included in Course A)
・Boiled vegetables
Cut the vegetables, boil → you will do.
・Miso soup
Cut and boil the vegetables→ you will do.

・Japanese-style salad
Cut the vegetables and cook dressing→ you will do.

Course B (I.~III. is included)
After preparing, let's eat while making it on a hot plate
Ⅰ Gyoza
Cut, mix and wrap the filling→ you make
Bake together

Ⅱ Yakisoba Stir-fried noodles with sauce
Fry the noodles with meat you cut the vegetables, and season with the sauce.

Ⅱ Okonomiyaki Japanese savory pancake
Cabbage, pork, cheese, eggs, flour→ etc. you cut, mix and bake.

  • Gyoza

    Gyoza

    Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

  • Okonomiyaki

    Okonomiyaki

    Okonomiyaki is a Japanese savory pancake, made with flour, eggs, shredded cabbage, meat and toppings as you like. This variability is reflected in the dish's name: "okonomi" literally means "to one's liking". You can eat it everywhere in Japan, but especially Okonomiyaki made Hiroshima style and Osaka style are the most famous.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

About Host



Before the coronavirus pandemic, I was a homestay host. I am currently taking a break from homestay.
I would like to cook and enjoy cooking with you all, just like I did as a homestay host.
Our house faces a row of cherry blossom trees, so if we're lucky enough to coincide with the blooming season, we can enjoy a wonderful view of the cherry blossoms while cooking.
