Zaru Soba (Chilled Buckwheat Noodles)
Zaru Soba is a refreshing and traditional Japanese dish, perfect for cooling down during the warmer months. It features delicate noodles made from nutrient-rich buckwheat flour, which are boiled, chilled in cold water, and served elegantly on a traditional woven bamboo strainer called a zaru.

Nigiri Sushi
Nigiri is the most traditional and classic style of Japanese sushi. It features a beautiful slice of the freshest seafood delicately placed on top of a bite-sized bed of seasoned vinegared rice. It is a simple yet exquisite dish where you can truly taste the authentic flavors of Japan.

    Sushi (寿司, 鮨) is a Japanese dish of specially prepared vinegared rice (鮨飯 sushi-meshi), usually with some sugar and salt, combined with a variety of ingredients (ネタ neta), such as seafood (most commonly and often raw), vegetables, and occasionally tropical fruits. Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the key ingredient is "sushi rice", also referred to as shari (しゃり), or sumeshi (酢飯).

Cooking Class Information

Zaru Soba (Chilled Buckwheat Noodles)
Prepare the dipping sauce.
Boil the soba noodles.
Once cooked, rinse them in cold water.
Drain the water using a colander and place the noodles in a bowl.
Serve with the dipping sauce and condiments.

Nigiri Sushi
Cook the rice.
Make sushi rice.
Prepare the fresh fish.
Shape the sushi rice into balls.
Add wasabi.
Place the fresh fish on top to make nigiri sushi.

Wagyu Maki Sushi
Cook the rice.
Make sushi rice.
Place nori seaweed on a bamboo mat and spread the sushi rice over it.
Add wagyu beef, etc.
Roll up the sushi.
Let it sit for a while before cutting.

We use fresh local vegetables and provide recipes that are easy to reproduce. A husband with 25 years of experience as a chef and a wife who loves nature and vegetables will support you carefully and with an emphasis on eco-friendly and sustainable living.
