Yukiko was a great host. Her sincerity was felt throughout the whole experience, she seemed to really enjoy hosting us and having us be a part of her day. Though it was a sushi making class I feel the sushi was not the star of the experience; rather it was a great experience spending time with a local and meeting other tourists who had suggestions and recommendations for our time in Tokyo. Would recommend to people who want a laid back and enjoyable afternoon.

It was a great experience. Yukiko demonstrated the process of making each type of sushi and allowed us to pick the fillings of our choice. She was very accommodating of my food allergies and provided alternatives. At the end we got to participate in a beautiful traditional tea ceremony. I would highly recommend this. Thank you Yukiko for hosting me!

The cooking class with Yukiko was amazing! Her instructions were kind and easy to understand. She prepared so many kinds of home made pickles for toppings. The finished dish was beautiful! It was easily worth the participation fee.

What a fantastic experience! We had the pleasure of visiting Yukiko in her beautiful home and learning the art of sushi making. We felt incredibly welcomed from start to finish. We learnt a lot about both Yukiko and the Japanese culture throughout the session and the food was absolutely delicious. We were novices at making sushi but Yukiko was very patient with us. We will 100% return if we’re ever back in Tokyo. Thanks Yukiko!
