In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Japanese popular alcoholic drink must be Sake, or called Nihonshu, made from fermented rice. The foundation of good sake is quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. The highlight of our stay in Tokyo was our cooking class with the effervescent Nahoko. Our children can now make their own Japanese food which is so healthy (and easy for me). See you next time Nahoko and we are so happy to recommend this lovely lady who is such a delightful representation of her beautiful country. I am happy to answer any questions

We LOVED our experience with Nahoko! She welcomed us in the home like it was our own. We learned so much more about Japanese culture than just sushi. The food was amazing and we had so much fun learning to make sushi with her! Highly recommend to anyone looking to try out a cooking class and have a great time.
