I will teach you an easy way to make 100% Soba noodles (no wheat) using cooking tools in your kitchen. If you want to make Soba noodles back in your country, this class is for you! The buckwheat flour we are using is native species from Chiba prefecture which is very rich in aroma and sweetness.
There are 2 types of Soba. ZARU SOBA is chilled with dipping sauce known as a dish to brutal summer but it is also great in winter time. Another type is the one in a warm soup so you can choose either Soba noodles year round.
We will also make Tempura with seasonal veggies and shrimp which goes delicious as a satisfied meal. Vegetarians are also welcome!
In this cooking class, we will make 100% buckwheat flour Soba noodles from scratch with less “ mussy fussy” using normal kitchen tools at home. We will also make dipping sauce and hot soup from scratch with/without fish stock and prepare the fresh veggies and shrimp for Tempura. I will deep fry the Tempura for my guests while they enjoy their Soba so Tempura will be hot and crispy when you taste!
