Make miso soup with my home fermented miso. We show you how to make broth from seaweed and bonito which is the base of miso soup.

Dashimaki Tamago
(Savoury omelette)
At the end of Sushi meal, Japanese people eat omelette. Make it together, we can try making salty one and sweet one. How we roll and shape the omelette with bamboo mat is quite unique and fun!

*We serve also a bite of different miso for you to taste and get to know the difference. Some of them have been fermented from soybeans and being stored as our homemade.

    Rice

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Cooking Class Information

During this class,
the guest will try slicing the fish. We teach you how to use the Japanese knife at first.

Then steam the rice - add vinegar to rice - make oval shaped rice - make wasabi from powder - serve them on the Japanese plate

Miso Soup
Make miso soup with my home fermented miso. We show you how to make broth from seaweed and bonito which is the base of miso soup. The guest will try to make its own miso soup.

Dashimaki Tamago
(Savoury omelette)
Break the eggs and mix with Dash broth and some ingredients.
Panfry it gradually and start rolling it.
Shape it with bamboo mat, cut and serve.

Hi!Welcome to Tokyo!We are married couple of Tokyo born Japanese and Italian.We love cooking and socializing with international people. Used to be serving in HK as private dining with purely Japanese,purely italian and Japitalian menu.Currently living in Tokyo for work and on way to learn more about Japanese cuisine especially Kaiseki as well as healthy eating approach such as Macrobiotics, Oriental medicinal food.(and combine with Italian slow food concept too!) Would love to share the healthy but yummy food and how to cook them together with table coordination with or without western touch.
Our place is 20 min from Shinagawa station, by taxi 20 min to Haneda Airport. 3 min from Tamagawa riverside where you can enjoy the green.Cosy place.We have a small rooftop terrace. We try to accomodate our guests with the best hospitality spirit to spend a nice time.
Please share your taste on food, your symptoms if you have any health issue and anything you feel like! We prescribe the receipe just for you and make the warm table together!! We do also purely Japanese sessions...and wine pairing and tasting sessions!
