Given the circumstances, we are excited to introduce airKitchen LIVE – private online cooking classes with hosts from Japan and around the world! We hope to continue connecting the globe through cooking during this crisis and beyond, and support our homebound hosts and guests. Using apps like Zoom and Skype, you can learn how to cook traditional dishes and share an intimate cultural exchange experience from the safety of your home. However, evening in your time zone may very well be day time for an overseas LIVE host, and perfect timing for their cooking class! In addition, LIVE hosts can advise you on what local ingredients you can substitute if you have trouble finding needed ingredients for their class. After sending a booking request, you can message and consult with your host to ensure you’re on the same page regarding start times across time zone differences and required ingredients.

Most airKitchen LIVE classes are private online lessons, so your host will be able to teach you carefully and through showing you the necessary steps over video. You’ll be able to ask your host any questions you have during your class. Even if you aren’t confident in English, you can participate in airKitchen LIVE with confidence!
