nice to meet you.
I am Kitamori.

I have been running a restaurant company for 36 years.

I have experience operating 12 izakaya, sushi restaurants, and ramen restaurants.

This time, I will be holding a cooking class for overseas customers at my home.

Before Covid-19pandemic,
we held cooking classes for foreign tourists at the store and they were very popular.

We will teach you how to make sushi, ramen, izakaya menus, and Osaka's famous okonomiyaki in an easy-to-understand manner.

We also offer a tea ceremony in a Japanese-style room as a service that allows you to experience Japanese culture.

We are looking forward to meeting you so that we can help you create memories in Japan.

Our private cooking class with Katsuji and Chiharu was amazing and an honor to learn from such a wonderful chef! With his great teaching and knowledgable tricks we quickly got to prepare our own sushi palette and ramen. It was an amazing experience rounded out by their welcoming tea Zeremonie and rounded out with a wonderful personal gift for the road. We would highly recommend to learn from Katsuji to prepare your own delicious sushi! Thank you for such an amazing day!

Our experience with Katsuji was great! We chose to do the sushi and ramen course. We were welcome by his daughter and son very kindly. The location is amazing and authentic. Some of us didn't have experience in cooking but they got their way just fine. We cooked and ate a lot of fresh fish and well slow-cooked pork. I really recommend doing this experience and in particular with Katsuji. It is a perfect way to dive a little deeper in the japanese culture and appreciate it even more. Thank you for this amazing memory!

We thoroughly enjoyed learning to make sushi and ramen and felt encouraged at every step, even when making a mess! Chiharu was an excellent translator and we were supplied with many photos and videos of our experience which we will cherish, along with the personalised calligraphy done by Katsuji as a gift. Would recommend to anyone visiting Osaka!

Amazing experience for a sushi making class in Osaka! Chiharu and Katsuji were so friendly. She was a wonderful translator and host and he was so friendly and clearly a master in his field. Their home is beautiful and very welcoming. We came from Umeda station with no issues. First we started with a traditional Japanese tea service, and then chef Katsuji showed us how to skillfully make nigiri and sushi rolls. Then he explained Ramen noodles and pork in the end. We ate the meal together, and it was very delicious. He even showed us how to do the garnishes. As a parting gift, he drew our names in beautiful calligraphy, so kind. Such an amazing way to learn how to make sushi at the Sushi class in Osaka. Highly recommend this experience!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a cooking class in Osaka, Japan, taught by the incredible Katsuji. I must say, it was an experience that I will remember and cherish for a long time. From the moment I stepped into the class, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere that Katsuji and his team had created. Katsuji himself was an exceptional teacher, passionate about his craft and clearly dedicated to sharing his knowledge. His love for cooking was evident in every step of the class, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Katsuji's patience and attention to detail made the learning process enjoyable and stress-free. During the class, we had the unique opportunity to learn the art of nigiri and temari sushi making, as well as kushikatsu. Each technique was carefully explained and demonstrated by Katsuji, ensuring that everyone could follow along and create their own delectable dishes. The hands-on experience allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the culinary traditions of Japan. Before diving into the cooking, we were treated to a traditional tea ceremony. It was a serene and tranquil experience that set the tone for the rest of the class. The presence of Chiharu, our English translator, made the entire process seamless. Her exceptional translation skills ensured that we didn't miss a single instruction, and she also added a wonderful sense of humor to the class, resulting in some good laughs along the way. As an extra special touch, Katsuji surprised us with his talent for traditional Japanese calligraphy. He created personalized pieces for each of us, adorned with wishes that added a touch of magic to the whole experience. It was a delightful reminder of the cultural richness and artistic traditions of Japan. Overall, Katsuji's cooking class was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. The combination of his expertise, passion, and patience, along with the delightful tea ceremony and the personalized calligraphy, made it an extraordinary journey into the heart of Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Osaka who wants to learn about the art of sushi making and explore the culinary wonders of Japan. Thank you, Katsuji, for a remarkable experience that will stay with me forever!
