Udon
Cooking Class for Kids and Parents with Local Kids in Kyoto
Discover Japanese cooking and culture by making traditional dishes with local kids in Kyoto, a unique program where you can make new friends while enjoying the art of Japanese cuisine.
The program will run as follows:
Once everyone gathers, we’ll begin with introductions, and the cooking instructions and dish preparation will be conducted in English. As we cook together, we’ll enjoy a cultural exchange, preparing and sharing the dishes as a group. Not only will we explore Japanese culture, but we’ll also set aside time for participants to share aspects of their own cultures with the local kids.
ULU, opened in 2022, is a multicultural community space currently staffed by 20 members from various countries.
This is a place where people of all genders, races, ages, and nationalities can come together.
While Kyoto is a popular destination worldwide, opportunities to connect with locals and enjoy a unique cultural experience are rare. Here, you can achieve just that with us!
Let’s make lasting memories together in a one-of-a-kind experience!
