We will make 3 dishes in this class.

1. Ramen
I use my mother's recipe for soup. I grew up with this ramen.

2. Gyoza (Japanese dumpling)
We will make the gyoza skin from scratch. It's easy to make and tasty.

3. Side dish (e.g. cucumber pickles)
It's side dish but this is one of my friends' favorite. Everyone ask me the recipe for this.

After cooking, we will eat the food we made.

  • Ramen


    Ramen is a noodle soup dish and perhaps one of the most popular Japanese dishes. There are many flavours of ramen, such as Shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, Miso ramen, Tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen and so on. Common toppings are Chashu (braised pork), Negi (green onion) and Nori (dried seaweed).

  • Gyoza


    Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, we will make 3 dishes.
1. Ramen
2. Gyoza
3. Pickles.

We will start by preparing ramen soup using vegetables and chicken bones, then make gyoza skin from scratch. Then prepare the fillings for gyoza and pickles.

Every steps are easy to follow using simple ingredients so you can recreate the same thing when you go back to your home country.
