Yuka is an amazing host and we had a lot of fun with her. Her lesson starts with a warm welcome (she picks you up from the closest train station) and then we folded traditional origami cranes. Then we learnt a lot about fermentation, were able to try different kinds of miso (and sake paste), and then we made vegan gyoza and ramen. Yuka has a great eye for detail and the ramen toppings looked like a rainbow and were beautiful. The gyoza were really the best we had in Japan (and we‘re not even vegan - we just like plant-based food). Her course easily caters to both vegans and flexitarians. Yuka is very generous, joyful and knows a lot about Japanese cuisine! Thank you so much, Yuka! We will remember this cooking class as one of our highlights during our trip to Tokyo! Lina & Tim
Yuka, it was such a wonderful experience!!!!! Thank you for this! Fabulous food! Wonderful host!!!!
We had the pleasure of attending Yukas class who was so professional and welcoming of us into her gorgeous home. She was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to and the food was so incredible. She sent us away with full stomachs and full hearts. Couldn’t thank her enough and look forward to one day maybe having the opportunity to cook for her in our kitchens if she travels to Australia. From Kylie, Dani and Tayla.
