Japanese popular alcoholic drink must be Sake, or called Nihonshu, made from fermented rice. The foundation of good sake is quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. Premium sake differentiates itself in quality of ingredients and production process, so that flavors ranges light and crisp to richer, fruity notes.
The astringent constituent in Japanese tea is a type of polyphenol called catechin. Japan has done a great deal with the humble tea leaf. For example some benefits of the catechin in the tea leaf can lower cholesterol in some cases. Roasted over charcoal at a high temperature and grown under shade for at least 20 days are one of the examples. The most popular Japanese tea might be ryokucha. Depending on the timing of picking the leaves, the grade, the price can be noticeably different.
Japanese cooking is held at my office with kitchen.
Before the cooking, I will guide you through the popular place, Tokyo Midtown and supermarket. I will recommend popular shops and you can buy your souvenirs there if you like. Then we will move to our office and start cooking! (If you want to skip the tour, it is possible as well! I can be flexible! )
This area is central Tokyo so you can walk to Tokyo Tower and Roppongi! You can walk there after this experience.I will tell you the places you should visit!!
