・Okonomiyaki
Japanese savory pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning "how you like" or "what you like", and yaki meaning "grill".
It means you can add whatever you like to the basic recipe, such as meat, seafood, vegetables, kimchi, cheese, or any combination.
In this cooking class, we can cook Okonomiyaki together!
The base recipe is flour, shredded cabbage and eggs mixed in a bowl, with your choice of toppings mixed in after.
It's grilled on a flat surface and can be topped with special okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes and nori flakes.
Hello, I'm Yuuka.
I live in Kyoto and cook almost every day for my family, friends, and foreign guests. Some of my recipes were taught to me by my grandmother and mother, and some are my own.
I love experiencing different cultures, so I'd like to talk to people from different countries. And I've been practicing calligraphy and tea ceremony since I was little. If you want, you can also experience tea ceremony and calligraphy.
As part of my cooking class, I can also show you around shops and cool tourist spots in Kyoto.
I look forward to meeting you.
