    Gyoza

    Gyoza is a dumpling wrapping ingredients with a thin dough. Common ingredients are Minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it is evolved uniquely in Japan and now different from Chinese one.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. Soup is made from dashi (Japanese stock) and Miso paste. Common ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but different from personal preference. Using the type of miso is different from region. In western Japan, white miso is mostly used. in east region, White miso is often used.

Cooking Class Information

"Gyoza" are fried dumplings with meat and vegetable - such as cabbage, nira, garlic, ginger and so on - ingredients in a flour wrapper.
If you're vegetarian, we can make gyoza made with only vegetables.

Gyoza and beer pair well together,if you want!

This class takes place in my house so you can relax and enjoy real Japanese home party with Japanese music.

I'm Aki, Japanese woman work as a event producer.
I like:
-call my friends to my home and enjoy party.

 Asian countries, Middle-east, Africa, US, Europe and anywhere!
-to be in contact with different cultures, so I'd like to talk with people from various countries.

I live with my husband in Ookayama, quiet residential area in Ota-ku. It takes only 15minutes from Shibuya to Ookayama by subway.
If you want, you can wear yukata(Japanese traditional costume) during my class! I love Japanese traditional culture and can borrow my yukata and teach how to wear it.

I stayed Canada and Germany when I was university student, so I can speak English and German(ein bisschen).
