I was traveling on my own so it was difficult for me to find a class, but Emi was able to offer me a class with two others. Which was very thankful. Emi was well prepared and everything was very clean. This class is perfect for beginners! And I like to mention she offered a lovely tea as well. However if you look for a bit more advanced sushi making, this is not the right class for you.

We learned a lot about Japanese cooking with Emi and it was really nice to get an idea of what life is like in Japan at her home is a residential Tokyo neighborhood. It was also great to be able to ask her all the random questions about Japan we had accumulated during our stay. The food was great too!

Our class with Emi was one of the highlights of our trip to Tokyo. We had a wonderful experience learning about and preparing sushi, having interesting conversations with our fellow classmates while eating and drinking the delicious results of our practice. My shrimp cutting skills might still need some work but this class should not be missed if you're spending some time in Tokyo and looking for a next-level experience.
