Meeting Point: We will meet at the east exit of Ayase Station on the Chiyoda Subway Line for pickup by car.
It's about a 10-minute drive to our home kitchen studio.
After introductions and explaining today's lesson flow, we'll start the lesson!
First, we'll prepare the meat filling. We'll season it with traditional Japanese fermented seasoning, shoyu koji. Then, we'll make the gyoza wrappers using rice flour. By using rice flour instead of wheat, we achieve a chewy texture and gluten-free experience. Once each one is carefully wrapped, we'll enjoy frying, steaming, and boiling the gyoza.
Of course, we'll also prepare white rice and salad.
After indulging in homemade amazake and tofu pudding, a Chinese-style dessert, it's time for feedback. Participants will share their thoughts, ideas for future experiences, and anything else they'd like to discuss.
We'll then arrange transportation back to Ayase Station by car.
The entire session, including pickup, is expected to take about 3 hours.
