•Soy Sauce Ramen
The soup is a great combination of Japanese broth “DASHI” and flavorful mixed soy sauce. As the toppings you will have Char-Siu Pork and marinated half boiled egg. Our ramen is soy sauce flavored, not Tonkotsu(pork bones based creamy and greasy soup).
·Gyoza
Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling made by wrapping pork, Chinese cabbage, Chinese chives in wrappers made of flour.
We’ll talk about Japanese UMAMI at first then start making ramen broth with meat, fish and kelp. Then let’s start with gyoza by cutting the veggies. The most fun and difficult part of making gyoza is wrapping them with wrappers! To finish your ramen, enjoy topping with Char-Siu Pork and soy sauce marinated half boiled eggs!
We do not make ramen noodles and gyoza wrappers from scratch.
The Char-Siu Pork and half boiled eggs are prepared in advance, for, they need to be marinated with mixed soy sauce more than one day for deeper flavor.

Miou has recently opened her cooking class, where you can dive into the world of Japanese traditional ingredients and savor their Umami through hands-on culinary experiences.
At Panda Kitchen Tokyo, you’ll have the opportunity to take cooking lessons at her home, which offers a genuine glimpse into the typical size and lifestyle of Japanese households. Currently, Miou offers classes on making delicious ramen and gyoza, and onigiri and pork & veggies miso soup classes.
Miou’s journey with English began at the age of 13 when she spent a summer in Albuquerque, NM, and continued as a Rotary Exchange student in Sterling/Rock Falls , IL, at 17. These experiences instilled in her a love for connecting with people. She spent over a decade teaching English at junior high schools, collaborating with amazing ALTs from around the world.
Her passion for cooking led her to study at a culinary and nutrition school for a year, where she earned her chef’s license. Though her kitchen is small, it’s brimming with possibilities for sharing joyful cooking experiences. Miou warmly invites you to visit her kitchen as you would a friend’s home—kids are welcome too!
