・Omuraice ( Chicken rice covered with omelet )
・Homemade Gyoza ( Fried Dumpling)
In this class, we can cook two of Japanese popular dishes which is Omuraice and Homemade Gyoza.
Omuraice is a Japanese dish which is typically a collaboration of omelet and chicken rice. It's very popular egg dish in Japan. Chicken rice is looks like fried rice but differnt thing is chicken rice is using ketchup, so we also called ketchup rice, too.
Homemade Gyoza are fried dumplings with vegetable and meat ingredients in a flour wrapper.
Many Japaneses made Gyoza at home, so everybody have their own recipe. Most Japanese likes Gyoza very much. The recipe is very simple but it is little difficult to make the folds in a dumpling. However, I will teach you tips of folds in a dupling, so you can do it!
Hello, my name is Fumiko.
I have two daughters and have always loved cooking and meeting people from different countries. I graduated from a cooking school in Japan and also studied at a college in Los Angeles.
In addition to my cooking experience, I worked in a Japanese elementary school lunch program, where I prepared nutritious meals for children. This experience helped me develop a deep understanding of Japanese home-style cooking and healthy food preparation.
I can teach a wide range of dishes, from everyday Japanese home cooking to traditional Japanese cuisine. My home is located right in front of Higashi-Nihonbashi Station, with easy access from Ginza, Asakusa, and other popular sightseeing areas in Tokyo.
In my class, I would like to share not only Japanese cooking techniques but also Japanese culture, customs, and daily life. My goal is to create a fun, friendly, and memorable experience for every guest.
I look forward to cooking with you and spending a wonderful time together!
