Cooking Class Information

Our class is located in the heart of Tokyo, at our home kitchen in a quiet residential area 10 minutes walk from Shinagawa station. We will meet you at 11:00am in front of the ticket office right outside the Central gate and will head to our home kitchen together.

Upon arrival, matcha latte will be served as a welcome drink in a Japanese tea ceremony style. While we introduce each other, you will make your own chopstick rest with Origami. Then we will make together crispy yaki gyoza and flavorful gyoza nabe with vegetables. In addition to this menu, we will be serving homemade dessert. All our dishes will be arranged in a traditional Japanese setting with antique and artist's tableware.

Our menus use ingredients that can be found in a nearby supermarket so it will be easy for you to try them back home. All recipes will be given as souvenirs.

Our class is in English and last for about two and a half hours. Aprons will be provided so please come empty-handed. While enjoying our dishes, we would love to talk not only about the menu but the places we recommend you to visit in Tokyo. We would be happy to help you make your trip memorable!

★Our class is from 11:30 to 14:00 (meet at Shinagawa station 11:00).
★Please reserve with minimum of 2 people.

We had sick a wonderful time in this class. While I wish we had gotten a little bit more hands on time, the wonderful food and fantastic instruction was more than enough for me to enjoy. Thank you very much!!!

Naho and Tomoko were very polite hosts and invited us into the home like we were long friends. They were both incredibly kind and accommodating for us. They printed out the recipes used for us to take home and made an appetizer while the demonstration started. My only reservation is that I wish it was a little more hands on for a cooking class! It was mostly demonstration and then closing and pleating the gyoza. I wish we could’ve helped more or made more for the cooking class. It was mostly a demonstration and recipe, and they were amazing but I would've loved to cook a little more. Thank you to Naho and Tomoko for having us! When we finished earlier than expected they toured us through a nearby garden and walked us to our station. They were above and beyond!

Thank you so much for joining our class and we are happy to hear that you had a nice time. To make our guest comfortable and relaxed, we thought of demonstrating and have you join only the fun part of the process, but as you have given us an advice, we would like to plan our class by listening to our guest’s needs well in advance. We really appreciate your comment and will consider it to make our class more enjoyable. Please try to make our recipes back home and if you have any questions, ask us any time. Thank you again and hope you can visit Japan again!
