Meet Your Instructor: Junko
Hello! My name is Junko. I'm a native Japanese local, a graduate of Sophia University, and a former high school teacher. In my free time, I love swimming, canoeing, reading, and traveling.
My passion for traditional Japanese cuisine runs deep, having prepared these dishes throughout most of my life. I am dedicated to creating high-quality, additive-free meals, always with a focus on healthy cooking practices.
Though born and raised in Tokyo, I've also had the enriching opportunity to live abroad in places like Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States for a total of five years. These experiences have allowed me to pick up English, which I truly enjoy speaking whenever I can!
I am a very sociable person and genuinely enjoy connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Sharing my love for Japanese cuisine and culture is a true passion, and I eagerly look forward to embarking on this culinary journey with you!

I have been a homemaker for a long time and have always cooked homemade meals, so I can make just about anything. Feel free to request dishes outside the menu as well. If you have the chance, please visit again.
For now, try making rich miso ramen using cashew nuts and peanuts!!
