Discover the Real Taste of Japan in a Local Home!
Would you like to experience authentic Japanese home cooking away from the usual tourist spots?
Join me in my home kitchen in Tokyo for a fun, hands-on cooking experience!
In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn to make three delicious Japanese favorites from scratch.
What We’ll Make
1. Handmade Udon Noodles
Experience the fun of making traditional Japanese noodles! We’ll mix, knead, roll, and cut the dough by hand to create fresh, chewy udon noodles.
2. Crispy Japanese Tempura
Learn how to make light and crispy tempura using fresh ingredients. I’ll share simple tips for getting that perfect crispy texture.
3. My Original Chewy Dorayaki
While the udon dough is resting, we’ll make my original version of dorayaki, a beloved Japanese sweet.
You’ll make soft, chewy pancakes using my own original recipe, then sandwich them with sweet red bean paste.
Discover the Secrets of Japanese Dashi
You’ll also learn about dashi, the traditional Japanese soup stock made from ingredients such as kombu (kelp) and bonito flakes. Discover how dashi creates umami, the rich, savory taste that is so important in Japanese cuisine.
More Than Just Cooking
After preparing our dishes, we’ll sit down together, enjoy the food we’ve made, and chat about Japanese food, culture, and everyday life.
With a maximum of four guests, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy a personal, relaxed experience.
My kitchen is just a 10-minute walk from Tama Center Station, the nearest station to Sanrio Puroland.
